Intro to Tunisian for Fiber Artists | Nov. 15, 10-noon
Learn the basics of Tunisian Crochet and why this technique is so popular. Many say it is knitting with a crochet hook, but this yarn craft really stands alone in its possibilities, especially when it comes to fabric texture. Create distinct and versatile fabric with seemingly unlimited texture.
This entry level workshop will teach you the most common cast on method, the Tunisian simple and purl stitches. Use these new skills to make a beautifully textured scarf. As well as how to bind off, and how to identify loops and count stitches. We will draw parallels to knitting and crochet to enhance your learning experience.
