Ready to turn a ball of yarn into a pocket-sized pal? We’ll guide you through the magic of making your very own mini stuffed critter. This is a choose-your-own-adventure workshop where everyone starts with the same basic shape and lets individual creativity flow. You'll leave with the skills to start your own crochet menagerie.
Prerequisites:
Students should know how to chain and single crochet. Consider taking the Head First into Crochet class if you would like support with the prerequisites.
Materials:
50g of a medium (#4) weight yarn
Scraps of accent colors for details
Optional: 9-10mm googly eyes
Instructor Bio
Jacquelyn “Jacq” Bilbro is a life long crafter and self-taught crocheter and knitter. She lives the belief that crafting and creative expression are integral to mental wellbeing. Yarn and the repetitive motion of creating fabric has been integral to her personal wellness journey. With over 15 years experience crocheting, she became a Craft Yarn Council certified crochet instructor in 2025. Jacq is passionate about sharing what she’s learned to help others create joy around them.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellations at least five days before a class are subject to a $5 processing fee. Cancellations between two and five days before the class start date are subject to a 50% charge. Cancellations made within two days of class are not eligible for any refund.
2. If a class is cancelled or rescheduled, we will contact you by phone or email to reschedule or offer you a class credit.
