Knitting for Crocheters
Beginning knitting class to help crocheters extend their fiber craft skills by learning the basics of knitting. Specifically, learn the long tail cast on and knit stitch with tips for what separates knitting from crochet and why crocheters make great knitters.
Prerequisites
A knowledge of handling yarn and tools. Eagerness to learn new fibers crafts. No prior knitting experience required.
Class supplies
Yarning Beginning Knitter's Kit with Tillie yarn (you can buy them at the shop!)
Or
4 mm knitting needles with at least 24 inch cables or straight needles
Number three DK weight yarn - at least 20 grams. (Perfect for those leftover bits.)
Optional: 4 mm crochet, hook and button or bead with holes large enough for yarn
Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellations at least five days before a class are subject to a $5 processing fee. Cancellations between two and five days before the class start date are subject to a 50% charge. Cancellations made within two days of class are not eligible for any refund.
2. If a class is cancelled or rescheduled, we will contact you by phone or email to reschedule or offer you a class credit.
