The fiber arts carry a lineage of wisdom thirty thousand years deep.

Nearly every mythic tradition we know of includes sacred stories of textile creation.

Modern life has hidden much of these art forms’ magic by removing them from daily view.

But they have continued to flourish quietly, their secrets kept alive through a soft and vibrant living tradition.

This event will illuminate this tradition from two perspectives: 

• The creation stories of two-three deeply personal knitted gift pieces, by Yarning Fiber Arts founder Rachel Penticuff
• Mythological storytelling by David Burns, founder of the mythic artists’ collective The Mysteries

Join us for this single, invitation-only evening to discover a deeper layer of the world of tactile mysticism.
